Heitman Welcomes Sach Diwan as Chief Information Officer in Data and Technology Group

Heitman LLC (“Heitman”), a global real estate investment management firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sach Diwan as Chief Information Officer. In this role, Sach will Co-Head the Data & Technology team, with a focus on leading Heitman’s business application and data and AI transformation efforts. He will also serve on Heitman’s Global Management Committee.

In his most recent role as Managing Director and Global Head of Technology at LaSalle Investment Management, Sach led global IT, data, and digital strategy and oversaw enterprise platforms, prop tech initiatives, and advanced analytics, including AI and automation. Earlier in his career, he held senior technical leadership roles at Northern Trust, where his experience spanned across product management, data science, client implementations, and digital solutions. He has extensive experience scaling global teams, modernizing technology platforms, and partnering closely with business leaders to enable growth and operational excellence. 

Sach holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Virginia Tech, a master’s degree in health administration from George Washington University, and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Chicago.  He attained Chief Data Officer certification from Carnegie Mellon University and Chief AI Officer Certification from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
