Tim is a Managing Director, Head of Originations in Heitman’s Real Estate Debt group, and an equity owner of the firm. He is responsible for leading a team of investment officers focused on preferred equity, mezzanine, and senior debt opportunities across all real estate sectors in the North American region. His teams have closed over 130 investments totaling nearly $3.8 billion of equity invested from co-mingled funds and separate accounts. Prior to joining Heitman, he served as an equity asset manager with an emphasis on multifamily for a private equity firm. He started his career over 25 years ago underwriting construction and acquisition loans for a large real estate lender.

Tim received a BBA and an MBA in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
