Sach is Heitman’s Chief Information Officer and Co-Head of the Data & Technology Group. He is responsible for leading Heitman’s business application, data and AI transformation efforts and serves as a catalyst for innovation across the organization. In partnership with Co-Head Julie Feller’s team, Sach’s team incorporates the various business needs and requirements into the development, implementation, and testing of new technology solutions in support of the firm’s investment strategies. He is also a member of the firm’s Global Management Committee.

Prior to joining Heitman, Sach was the Global Head of Technology at Lasalle Investment Management where he was responsible for implementing new data and digital capabilities, business application support and driving the overall technology strategy. Previously, he held product leadership roles in investment data science and investment operations at Northern Trust Asset Servicing. Sach also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Wespath Investment Management earlier in his career.

Sach received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Virginia Tech, a Master of Health Services Administration from George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Chicago. He attained a Chief Data Officer certification from Carnegie Mellon University and a Chief AI Officer Certification from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
