Jon is an Executive Vice President in Heitman’s Real Estate Debt group. He is an equity owner of the firm and a member of the firm’s Debt Investment Committee. As portfolio manager for the firm’s high yield debt fund series, Heitman Real Estate Debt Partners, Jon is responsible for investment strategy, portfolio construction, and ongoing asset management. Jon also has portfolio management responsibilities for the firm’s real estate debt separate accounts and other commingled funds.. Prior to his current role, he was a member of Heitman’s North American Private Equity group, focusing primarily on asset acquisitions for Heitman’s various capital sources. Throughout his career, Jon has participated in the sourcing of over $5 billion of transaction volume.

Jon received a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a JD from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
