Job Description

Heitman is seeking an Intern to join their Acquisitions team in the London office. In this role, you will support a variety of activities designed to impact overall business results. This is a rare opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic environment. In addition to hands-on learning, you will learn about real estate career opportunities while finessing the relationship building, collaboration, and presentation skills required to thrive in today’s work force.

The responsibilities of an Acquisitions Intern include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the team on investment analyses of real estate acquisitions and developments across Europe, including financial and locational underwriting
  • Assist in the preparation of transaction opportunity briefs for marketing and internal investment committee processes
  • Help coordinate the closing phase of the transaction in conjunction with in-house and outside counsel


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, ideally focused on real estate
  • Professional work experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator with strong writing skills
  • Well-organized, detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced team environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Excel with experience in Argus software being a plus

Length of internship TBD but generally 3-6 months.
