Our Los Angeles office is seeking a Loan Originator for our Private Real Estate Debt Group.
This position has responsibility for all aspects of debt origination and will work closely with members of the investment teams. The successful candidate will originate, structure, conduct due diligence and close senior and subordinate debt transactions primarily in the Western United States. Specifically, the candidate will have a well documented track record of negotiating and structuring complex loan structures, with experience in mezzanine and preferred equity structures. This person will assess risks and opportunities, optimize portfolio balance in terms of both asset type and geographical diversity, maximize return on investments, and optimize cash flow. He/she will undertake a range of client facing responsibilities, including marketing and regular client communications
