Job Description

Heitman is seeking a highly organized, detailed-oriented individual to support our Compliance and Auditing groups who has at least 3 years of experience in a regulated environment.

The responsibilities of a Compliance Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to Compliance and Internal Audit teams for leading global real estate investment advisory firm
  • Support the maintenance, distribution and enforcement of company-wide securities compliance manual and broker dealer compliance manual
  • Assist internal and external auditors during compliance related examinations and making recommendations for any deficiencies noted
  • Involvement in development of compliance training programs – annual company-wide program and broker dealer program


  • 3-5 years compliance related experience with public equities or financial institution
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Familiarity with trade settlement process and EZE post-compliance trade reports a plus
  • Working knowledge of anti-money laundering and know your customer protocols
  • Actively work with team to refine processes/procedures
  • Dynamic environment, opportunity for growth/advancement
  • Experience with SEC Rule 13 F and 13G analyses, and TIC SLT reporting a plus
  • Position will also involve review of client investment management agreements, coordinating with operations teams, monitoring portfolio guidelines, working with Compliance team on Code of Ethics, developing and refining best practices
