Our Public Securities team is in search of a Financial Analyst to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Finance and Analytics with a drive to analyze large data sets and improve efficiency and processes. If you are passionate about driving business results through data and creating out of the box solutions, this is a great next step to building your career.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Compile data, commentary, and analytics for client reports on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Participate in research and analysis relating to new product development initiatives
  • Maintain and update quarterly marketing materials to support internal & external consumers of data
  • Ability to run multiple requests and prioritize while still maintaining accuracy of data
  • Investigate any data discrepancies, explore various corrective measures of resolution, and implement solutions
  • Perform a variety of data maintenance in the attribution system and maintain security database for proper grouping and identifications, i.e., StatPro Revolution, Benchmark data mining etc.
  • Detail oriented and takes initiative to check data quality and integrity on complex dataset
  • Automate existing ad hoc processes into streamlined and scalable solutions
  • Dedication and perseverance to overcome data, analytical, and/or technical challenges
  • Experience working on open ended custom analytic requests 


Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a finance capacity 
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookups, graphing)
  • Knowledge of financial markets is required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups including Accounting, IT, Operations, Client Services and Marketing
  • Knowledge of SQL, a scripting language (Python, R), and Power BI a plus
