Justin is a Vice President in Heitman’s Client Service & Marketing group. He is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in the Asia Pacific region, focusing especially on Korea, for private real estate equity, public securities and private real estate debt. Prior to his current role, Justin worked as an Assistant Vice President and a Portfolio Manager for Heitman’s Asia-Pacific Portfolio & Asset Management group. In that position, he developed and monitored strategic business plans, coordinated and oversaw property acquisitions and dispositions, and directed aspects of property level leasing and operations. Prior to joining Heitman, Justin worked as an asset manager at Koramco REITs & Trust in South Korea. There, he was in charge of managing a variety of investments and property types, overseeing the process from acquisition to disposition. His main responsibility focused on executing value-add enhancement strategies, while also liaising with institutional investors. Before working at Koramco, Justin worked as a project manager for development projects at the Middle East/North Africa office of Hines. Prior, he worked for POSCO E&C, the construction arm of steel manufacturing conglomerate POSCO, where he was engaged in urban redevelopment projects in Seoul and Busan.

Justin received a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Korea University, an MS in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Technical Engineer License in Urban Planning in South Korea, and he completed the Masters course in Urban and Regional Planning at Seoul National University. Justin is fluent in Korean and English. He is licensed by the Hong Kong SFC for Types 1 and 4 regulated activities as a licensed representative of Heitman International HK Ltd.
