    Recognizing that the North American, European, and Asia-Pacific stock markets and REIT regimes are quite different, we have built a global team with investment professionals in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Their local expertise allows our team members to make real-time, well-informed investment decisions. Our real estate securities team benefits from the broader Heitman platform, which consists of complementary and functionally integrated business units. In particular, the team benefits from the expertise of our property market research group, as they work together to evaluate risks/opportunities for individual REITs.

    Averaging over 20 years of industry experience, our regional portfolio managers have a deep perspective of investing in market recovery/expansion and market corrections. They’ve gained strong insight, allowing them to create thoughtful and strategic solutions while keeping in mind the history of the markets in which we invest. Global Focused

A high-conviction portfolio of North American, European, and Asian-Pacific stocks representing approximately 25% of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed benchmark. This strategy is offered through a separate account or CIT.

Prime

A benchmark-unaware, diversified portfolio of publicly traded global real estate securities designed to provide investors exposure to world-class property assets located in global gateway markets. The strategy is offered through a separate account and Heitman’s UCITS platform.

Prime Select

A high-conviction, benchmark-unaware, diversified portfolio of publicly traded global real estate securities designed to provide investors exposure to world-class property assets located in global gateway markets. The strategy is available through a separate account and through the Heitman/First Trust ETF (ticker: PRME).

US preferred

A portfolio of preferred securities constructed to provide investors with a high-yielding portfolio from listed companies with quality balance sheets. This strategy is offered through a separate account.

Heitman European Real Estate Opportunities (HERO)

An absolute return fund that uses a fundamentals-driven long/short equity strategy with a focus on European securities from issuers with traditional real estate businesses or companies with real estate industry exposure or characteristics. This strategy is offered through Heitman’s UCITS platform.

ETF

An actively managed ETF, or exchange-traded fund, is a marketable security with a decision-making team or manager determining its underlying portfolio allocation. This is different from traditional ETFs in that an actively managed ETF does not follow or adhere to a passive investment strategy. Unlike mutual funds, an ETF trades like a common stock on a stock exchange. An attractive option for individual investors, ETFs typically have higher daily liquidity and greater transparency. UCITS

A UCITS fund is an open-ended investment vehicle that allows collective investment in transferable securities. A CIT, or collective investment trust, is a vehicle for a 401(k) or a similar qualified retirement plan.
